LONDON:In the final days of the European Union, France’s health ministry has announced a plan to make a total of €30 billion worth of drugs, including erectile dysfunction drugs, available to all men and in some cases, to prevent men’s health problems from becoming a public health problem. France has been taking action against the US government over the erection drug sildenafil, which has a higher risk of causing sexual dysfunction than Viagra and has been prescribed for more than a decade by the US Food and Drug Administration.
